Short answer: no, and we would rather tell you that plainly than let a blog post imply otherwise. HOME — Renovation & Design Build has a Better Business Bureau business profile (BBB Great West + Pacific) with an A- rating and no complaints on file.
What you can verify instead
- Washington State contractor registration #HOMERDB750MH with the Department of Labor & Industries, which covers our bond and liability insurance. Look it up at secure.lni.wa.gov/verify.
- Google reviews from real homeowners, 5.0 across every review as of November 2026. Read them on our reviews page or on Google.
- Our BBB profile, which lists the legal name HOME — Renovation & Design Build, the business start date (July 2025) and the owner, Donovan A. Park.
- The work itself, in the family case studies.
Why a one-year-old LLC with five generations behind it
The company was formed in 2025. The building is not new: Donovan is the fifth generation of a family of Pacific Northwest builders, and the crew is the one he trusts from years on job sites before putting his own name on the door. When you hire us you get a new company and an old way of building.
